Don’t Worry About My Stable Diffusion
Everyone in the process of using Stable Diffusion painting, especially small memory users, often look at the picture is about to come out, suddenly a black eye.
Then the picture disappeared, and a few lines of small print appeared below, which roughly meant that the video memory was used up.
This is what is called explosive memory.
It is difficult for us to remember how many pictures of the specific size will burst the memory. This sudden “surprise” makes many AI painting enthusiasts feel helpless.
Is there a way?
I found a plugin that can display the usage ratio of video memory before generating pictures, which can basically eliminate the situation of exploding video memory.
This plugin is called VRAM Estimator.
Its operating principle is to test the limit of your machine’s video memory limit, and then use the algorithm to record the data. When you draw, it will calculate the relevant video memory occupation in advance. If the video memory limit is exceeded, It will give an early warning to avoid bursting the video memory, which can greatly save our time.
